OSAKA, Japan - Naoko Sakamoto, a fourth-place finisher at the world championships in Paris last summer, is all smiles after capturing her first career victory at the Osaka International Women's Marathon on Jan. 25. An official of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations said the victory guaranteed Sakamoto one of two remaining Athens Olympic berths for Japan in women's marathon.
